Advisory Board

The Soligence Advisory Board comprises of four members who are prominent members of their respective industries. The advisory board members actively support research and development at Soligence.

Abraham D. Sofaer, J.D.

Abraham Sofaer is the George P. Shultz Distinguished Scholar and senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. He previously served as a federal district judge in New York and as the legal advisor to the Department of State, a role in which he earned the Distinguished Service Award. Sofaer has also served as a prosecutor, legal educator, and attorney in private practice. He is a renowned negotiator who has represented the US in numerous international negotiations, arbitrations and adjudications.

Isaac Meilijson, Ph.D.

Isaac Meilijson is a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at Tel-Aviv University. He is an expert in the fields of Stochastic Modeling and Dynamic Programming, with rich experience in applying these techniques to industrial problems. He is a consultant with the Israeli Ministry of Defense and consulted to numerous organizations, including the European Space Agency, IBM Labs and Bezeq. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of California at Berkeley. Meilijson supports the research and development at Soligence.

Eytan Ruppin, Ph.D.

Eytan Ruppin is a leading researcher in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks and Evolutionary Computation, with rich experience in development of industrial Machine-Learning algorithms. He actively supports the company on the business side as well as in developing current and future technologies. Formerly, he was Chief Scientist at Zapper Technologies, and consultant to leading hi-tech companies in the fields of Neural Networks and Optimization. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.D. from Tel Aviv University.

Gal Chechik, Ph.D.

Gal Chechik is a highly experienced Project Leader in Algorithmic R&D for Industrial Applications, with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence techniques for high order combinatorial optimization problems: Intelligence Corps, EMC2; TransScan; Ichilov Hospital; Netcustomize. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Formerly, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Soligence from its inception until 2003. He continues to contribute to Soligence as its primary algorithmic consultant.
